Seulement 6 % des Canadiens s'opposent \u00e0 la saisie des biens des agents publics russes et 5 % s'opposent \u00e0 la saisie des biens iraniens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2017, le Canada a adopt\u00e9 une version de la \u00ab loi de Sergue\u00ef Magnitski \u00bb, qui donne au gouvernement la possibilit\u00e9 de geler les biens canadiens d\u2019agents publics \u00e9trangers qui se sont livr\u00e9s \u00e0 des violations graves des droits de la personne. R\u00e9cemment, une nouvelle mesure a \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9e par le Parlement en juin 2022 dans le cadre du&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.parl.ca\/DocumentViewer\/fr\/44-1\/projet-loi\/C-19\/sanction-royal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">projet de loi C-19<\/a>&nbsp;qui a am\u00e9lior\u00e9 deux des r\u00e9gimes de sanctions du Canada, la loi de Sergue\u00ef Magnitski et la Loi sur les mesures \u00e9conomiques sp\u00e9ciales (LMES). C-19 permet d\u00e9sormais de confisquer et rediriger ces biens vers les victimes de pers\u00e9cution et d'oppression.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab Pendant bien trop longtemps, des responsables iraniens corrompus ont agi en toute impunit\u00e9. Ils ont non seulement vol\u00e9 des quantit\u00e9s massives de richesse \u00e0 leur propre peuple, mais ils les ont \u00e9galement opprim\u00e9s et priv\u00e9s de leurs droits. Ils ont subjugu\u00e9 les femmes et les filles au point que les hommes dictent ce qu'elles peuvent porter, penser, lire ou \u00e9tudier. Les d\u00e9noncer ne suffit pas. Si le Canada veut contribuer \u00e0 la libert\u00e9 des femmes iraniennes de mani\u00e8re significative, alors, le gouvernement doit appliquer ces mesures aux personnes et entit\u00e9s iraniennes
